Ensure you click Edit to make changes and Update to save them
Click Customer screen > General tab.
Add & Edit a Customer
To add a customer click Add to get a new blank record. Complete the general tab with as many or as few details as you need. When editing a customer record you need to click Edit to make the changes and then Update to save them.
Delete a Customer
When viewing the customer screen click Delete in the middle of the screen and confirm by clicking Yes. Note there is also a delete button on the top toolbar which is accessible from within other screens.
Company Details and Contact Numbers
You can add as many or few contact details as needed. You can set compulsory fields so that they must be completed before it will allow you to update and save.
Classifications
All of the classifications below can be used to filter the customer list and produce reports.
Customer types are where you can define settings that apply to a group of customers. You could have different groups for retail and trade customers.
Click Edit Popup Contents to add your own customer types.
List the salesman for the customer here. You need to add your own detail for each salesman.
Click Edit Popup Contents to add sales people.
List how the customer heard about your company.
Click Edit Popup Contents to add entries into the list.
The next 3 drop down boxes can be customised to prompt you for any additional information. For example showroom location if you have multiple branches.
Click Edit Popup Contents to add entries into the list.
Status
Select the status of the customer from the drop down box. Click Edit Popup Contents to add more entries to the list and set a colour for each status. This will colour code each customer in the list view and in the projects > customer list. Right-click the colour sample to show the colour selector and pick a new colour.
Sales Pipeline
Est Value
Use the estimated value, est. date and probability to enter in against new customers. You can use a column, and filter on the projects screen to show and search for this information.
Est Date
Enter the estimated date for the order.
Rating
Select a rating for the probability of the order, .e.g 100%, 50%. Click Edit Popup Contents to define your own ratings and descriptions.
