Milestone Setup

Milestones are stages of an order that become visually show you which stages of the order are complete.  They are displayed on the sales orders tab of the projects screen in the blue shaded columns.

By default EQ includes standard milestones that are completed automatically. E.g. when all purchase orders have been sent an X will be placed under the Orders column.

Edit a Milestone

Go to right-click a sales order > Milestones... > Milestone Setup.

Place a tick in the Manual column to set a milestone to manual. This would mean that EQ will not automatically put a check mark X when the stage is complete, instead you would need to right-click the order to mark the milestone as being complete.

On the colour column, right-click a colour swatch to open the colour palette to change colour. The colour only changes when the milestone is checked, so they stand out on screen.

Add a Milestone

You can add new milestones by typing a description and a heading in the next blank row. E.g. "Letter Sent" or "Signed Off"

Linked Documents

Click Linked Documents to select a document e.g. a letter template so that EQ will mark the milestone as complete when the document has been merged and printed.

Additional Milestones

Click the Additional Milestones button to view further milestones, from number 21 to 50. You can enter descriptions to add more milestones. Numbers 40 to 50 are used for automatic milestones, including:

Customer Delivery Scheduled - When delivery date input. This can only be an automatic milestone and cannot be used as "Manual"

All Purchase Orders Confirmed - When all purchase orders have confirmed dates

Import from Despatch Scanner - For barcode module

Export to Despatch Scanner - For barcode module

Factory Order - When factory order paperwork has been printed.
