Show "In Stock" on the quotation/orders screen

Tick this box to show a column displaying how many of a product you have in stock. (It must be a product for which you have already created a stock record, and booked some stock in).

Update 'Actual Cost' when raising a picking list

With this enabled the price (in stock database) will be updated as the actual price (the same behaviour as when you record a purchase invoice against a purchase order)

Don't prompt before creating new stock codes

Tick to turn off the prompt when creating new stock product codes.

Show zero and negative stock when adding products to basket

Enable this and you can show products that are 0 or negative in the add products window, when adding to the basket or quote. By default a stock quantity only displays if the quantity is 1 or greater (meaning that a picking list would be generated to use the stocked product)

Cost Price Update Method

Tick to update the cost price of a stocked product when the picking list is created. Pick from 1 of the 3 update methods below:

Never update - The cost price will not be updated

Update every time items are booked in - The cost price is updated each time a product is booked in

Update using an average of last 3 prices paid - The cost price is updated based on the last 3 actual cost prices

Default stock/purchasing action

This option defines the behaviour when adding stock products to a quote

Pick from stock when there is at least 1 item remaining in stock (default)

Always pick from stock
Stock products are always used regardless of quantity.

Always raise purchase order if the full order cannot be fulfilled
A purchase order will be raised if there is insufficient quantity in stock.

Split the order between stock and purchased items
Checks the quantity and splits picking list or purchase order as appropriate.

Never pick from stock
