Quotations/Orders > Delete a Quotation

You can delete a quotation to remove it from the system completely. You cannot delete sales orders but you can reset sales orders so they revert back to a quotation and can then be deleted in the same way.

1.Open the customer screen and locate your customer.

2.Click the Quotes tab and you will see all the existing quotes for this customer.

3.Click once on the reference so that it is highlighted

4.Click the Delete button to the right (NOT the Delete button above the list of quotes)

5.Confirm by clicking Yes.

The quotation is deleted and will not appear in the list any longer. However it has not been deleted entirely as all deleted quotes, orders and customers are stored in a temporary area until a database integrity check has been run. This system maintenance clears the deleted items out completely.

You can recover a deleted quotation if you want to bring it back again.
