Quotations are the starting point for all orders on EQ. All paperwork that EQ produces has its basis in the original quotation. When it is accepted a quote becomes a sales order but retains the same quote/order reference as it moves through the ordering stages.
New Quote
There are 2 types of quotations:
•Furniture Quote - Use when producing a full room quotation or a quotation with furniture items, e.g. a full kitchen. You pick the furniture-specific details like door handles and drawerbox options when you begin. (Note you cannot mix furniture manufacturer's on a quote).
•Quick Quote - Use when you do not want furniture products, e.g. small order for additional items or a bathroom quote. You do not have to pick any furniture options but you cannot add any furniture to the quote.

Open a Saved Quote
You can open a quote by:
1.Click Customer on the top toolbar
2.Locate the customer in the list
3.Click the Quotes tab and locate the reference number (ensure you have expanded the screen to show all tabs - see customise customers)
4.Right-click the order reference and select Open
5.You will need to click Edit to make any changes to the quote.

1.Click Projects
2.Click the Quotes tab
3.Locate the quote (you can scroll down the list or filter - see customise projects)
4.Right-click the order reference and select Open
5.You will need to click Edit to make any changes to the quote.
OR
The 10 most recently opened are listed at the bottom of the File menu for quick access.
