Within Projects > Sales Orders there is a special filter screen that will show orders that are awaiting purchase orders to be placed. The separate window shows more information than is available on the main sales order window.

 

1.Go to Projects > Sales Orders
 

2.Create a filter to select your data
 

3.Click Unplaced PO's
 

4.The window that opens shows purchasing specific information such as supplier and estimated cost.
 

You can right-click the Supplier name to place a purchase order from here.
