Here you can set further options to change the way quotes are put together. These settings do not change the printed quotations.

Suppress Users product comments

Tick to disable product comments appearing when adding a product to a quote.

hmtoggle_plus1 How to use comments

Allow the product description to be altered

Enable this option so that you can right-click on a product description on the quote to make changes. Changes can either be permanent or just once.

Allow the fitting list descriptions to be changed within a quotation

Enable this option so that you can edit the description of fitting list items.

Click here to see how to setup fitting.

Show classifications when saving a new quotation

Tick to show the classifications of each quote when clicking save. This is useful as a reminder to set classifications such as salesman and source of lead.

Must specify customer on a Quick Quote

Tick to ensure that a quick quote cannot be saved until a customer has been selected, therefore your quote will save into that customer's record.

Disable 'New' quote/order option on the main toolbar

By ticking this option the 'New' button on the top toolbar will disappear. This will force users to begin new quotes from the customer screen instead, which always ensure a customer name is specified.

Show range heading options against each option

When ticked this adds a new column to the quotation screen which shows the furniture range heading name against each product. The column can be then used to quickly change range of the selected product. Without this option, you would see the range heading in brackets next to the product description and change the range with a right-click option instead.

Quotation filters display at the bottom of the quotation screen as per the screenshot below. Filtering shows only the products in your matching filter, and you can combine filters. Tick which filters you would like to show from the list.
