Click: Tools > Customise > System > File Locations
These file locations need to point to your data folder and other folders EQ needs to run. The folders can be stored on the same PC as EQ or they can be on a server. It will accept a location via a mapped network drive or a full UNC path. On smaller networks you can set 1 PC to share it's folder so that operates like a server. See networking requirements.
If you use multiple companies file locations only show in the main company (the first one created). You cannot have separate locations for standard and own letters in different multi-companies. Instead you should divide your letters folder with sub folders.
Data Location
This is where the main databases are stored.
Work Files
These are your work files (e.g. backups, templates and 'my pictures') and should be the containing folder a level above your data folder.
Catalogues
This is the location of your catalogues and should always be identical to the data location above.
Temporary Work
Temporary files used by EQ, these should always be local to your PC so leave them on the C:\ drive.
The default location is C:\Program Files\Easyquote4\tmpwork
Multiuser System
If you are on a network and intend to share the databases with other users then make sure this is ticked.

Location of saved letters or merged Word Processor templates
Folders
This is the containing folder where all your customer, supplier, contract and order folders are created. On a networked system this should be shared so all users use the same folders.
To change any of the folder locations, click the 
Browse icon to pick a a new location.
Click the button to set up a folder hierarchy.
Remember to click 
Update to save and close the window.
