To begin you need to be logged in to EQ as an administrator. You can see which user is an administrator by going into Tools > Users. Only 1 user there will have a tick in the administrator column.
Multi user systems
As from version 16 you no longer need exclusive access to load catalogues. This means your networked users can continue to work whilst you load catalogues on one copy of EQ.
Catalogues from CD/DVD or via Email
Any catalogues that you install as extras may be sent via CD/DVD or in a zipped folder by email.
•If loading from CD/DVD you can cancel the "autoplay" box if Windows displays it when you insert the disk.
•If loading from a zipped folder extract the folder onto the root of your C: drive. In Windows, just double-click the zip file and it will open in your default program. The extracted folder must be called "easyquote v3 catalogues"
1. Insert the Catalogue CD/DVD OR extract the zip file (as above).
2. In EQ click the 
Catalogues arrow button and pick Catalogues from Disk
3. Select the catalogues you wish to update by placing an X in the box.
4. Select the Download Catalogues button
This will take several minutes to complete so please be patient. Do NOT reboot your PC otherwise you may corrupt your data.
Once you have successfully loaded new catalogues, remember to assign your discounts and margins to each supplier and catalogue. If you have just updated existing catalogues your previous margins will still be in effect.
