The Contracts module is an additional module to EQ that requires purchase and activation prior to use.
The contracts screens act as a front "wrapper" for organising your quotes pre-ordering. Once quotes are called off and accepted individually the standard EQ interface is used for placing orders.
The stages to follow are:
1.Create a site.
2.Create house types and a quantity for each type. This populates a plot list.
3.Produce call-offs to work with standard EQ.
When using the contracts module the 
Customer screen is used as a contacts database as you will store contacts for your builders, site address, invoice address, developer's address etc.
Before beginning with the contracts module ensure the settings have been setup in Tools > Customise > Contracts.
